  If you're hungry and near Everglades City, find someplace else to eat. Every time we've been here it's under new management, again, and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Terrible service from start to finish, including the manager who was rude to the staff in front of the customers. The one exception was the personable and professional bartender, who must have enormous patience to deal with this circus masquerading as a dining establishment. The view is great but not worth the drive or aggrevation and very average food.

  Insane this place is even still in business. Ordered our food and waited easily 45 minutes. My "hot" roast beef sandwich was not thoroughly cooked and I had to remove a clump of solid fat which could have easily caused someone to choke. No cheese on it but Lettuce Tomato and onion. On a roast beef sandwich??? Everyone's food in our party was cold when it was supposed to be hot. Another memeber of our party's Burger was so rare and bloody it was practically still alive. Bottom line, the restaurant was extremely awful. Understaffed and undercooked are this places biggest downfall. Has a wonderful view of the bay and a really nice set up. So unreal how someone could screw it up. I don't blame the staff because their leadership. I understand that it is under relatively new management. Whoever is managing this restaurant needs to seriously reconsider their career path because this was the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at and the first time I've ever written a review on anything.
